In this collection, you can find test protocols, raw data and processed results of a study evaluating the pressure-distributing capabilities of a meniscus prosthesis.
The data of this study is owned by ATRO Medical and therefore not open access.
The aim of this study was to determine whether a flexible, anatomically shaped, medial meniscus prosthesis is
more capable of distributing loads between the prosthesis and the direct tibiofemoral cartilage contact than the previous, stiffer version of the prosthesis. Additionally, the effect of the meniscus prosthesis on the pressure distribution on the tibial plateau after meniscectomy is investigated.
