In this research we investigate the role of entrustable professional professional activities (EPAs) on the professional development of medical students in the undergraduate curriculum at the Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. The database of this research contains datasets with focus group interviews exploring the perspective of medical students on EPAs on their professional identity formation (PIF), and individual interviews and observations with/from medical student about the role of EPAs on PIF and especially on the transitions between different clerkships. Moreover, data from a questionnaire, with over 2000 anonymous responses from medical students measuring their PIF, is available in our dataset. This dataset only contains Dutch data.
