This systematic review was an exploratory part of a larger line of research, called 'Building Bridges for Broken Bones', in which we explore the current background of extremity fracture management in resource-limited settings, as well as the potential role for intersectoral collaboration between formal healthcare and traditional bonesetters. This collection concerns all data generated within the study, which was published in the World Journal of Surgery. It contains the study protocol, the data extraction sheet, the search strategy used, and the files related to data analysis.
