This research was conducted as part of the Horizon Europe project 'Global Strategy for Skills, Migration and Development' (GS4S) (grant number 101132377). The working paper is D7.3 (T5.1) of this project and the associated dashboard is D5.1 (T5.1). For the current collection, the Radboud University acts as both publisher and administrator. The Radboud University handles the storage and access of the data through the Radboud Data Repository, in consultation with and on behalf of the partners of the Horizon Europe project. This research explores the overeducation of tertiary-educated migrants in European labour markets. It uses microdata from the European Labour Force Survey (2012–2022), provided by Eurostat. The analysis is presented and described in detail in the working paper, and the main results are made available to everyone in an easily accessible way through the associated interactive dashboard. The results of this research allow better informing the qualitative research on up/re-skilling schemes performed in WP5 and to provide researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders with a source of information on immigrants’ skill waste.
