Referrer Policy: Implementation and Circumvention (PETs’25)

This dataset was collected between January and February 2024 using a modified Tracker Radar Collector (https://github.com/referrer-policy-pets-25/Referrer-Policy-Crawler). Data was gathered from three vantage points: San Francisco, Amsterdam, and Singapore. The dataset consists of JSON files containing network requests and responses, HTML elements related to Referrer Policy, and JavaScript function calls, collected from 27,570 websites. All crawls were performed without interacting with consent dialogs to maintain consistency across vantage points. This dataset was primarily used for our study, "Referrer Policy: Implementation and Circumvention," published in the Proceedings on Privacy Enhancing Technologies, Volume 2025.
