This systematic review was conducted to provide an overview of randomised controlled studies assessing the effectiveness of digital applied and casual games for improving mental health in youth aged 6-24 years. A systematic search of PsycINFO, Web of Science and Pubmed yielded 145 eligible studies. To assess effectiveness, effect sizes were calculated and presented in several forest plots. This dataset includes the data used to create the forest plots, including means, standard deviations, sample sizes, effect sizes and their confidence interval, variables used, and coding of specific intervention arms.
