Data repository for the study by de Ruyter van Steveninck, et al. (2022; https://doi.org/10.1167/jov.22.2.1). The study implemented a simulated prosthetic vision mobility paradigm, where sighted subjects (N=20) walk and avoid (real-wold) cartboard obstacles using limited vision presented with a virtual reality headset (HTC Vive Pro Eye). This dataset contains: i) Screen captures of the video stream. ii) Responses to the exit survey. iii) Event files (timestamps) with the main behavioural data.
