Do listeners use speakers' iconic hand gestures to predict upcoming words?

EEG experiment that investigated whether listeners use speakers' iconic hand gestures to predict upcoming words. The collection contains EEG data of 40 Dutch participants that watch and listen to a virtual human asking questions, either with a meaningful iconic gesture or with a control hand movement. We also collected memory data, to see how well people remembered the questions, as an attention check. Published in Psychological Science (2025); https://doi.org/10.1177/09567976251331041
